Energy-Efficient Structure for the Lining of the Burner Assembly in a Glass-Founding Furnace

The linings currently used for the channel of the burner assembly in glassmaking furnaces are analyzed and an original new design is presented for the lining’ structure. Use of the new lining cuts heat loss to the environment in half.
