Effect of Homogenization Temperature on the Structure and Properties of Sintered Magnets Based on Sm(Co, Fe, Cu, Zr) z

  • Published:
Metal Science and Heat Treatment Aims and scope

The effect of the temperature of homogenization on the phase composition, structure and magnetic properties of magnetically hard alloy Sm(Co0.65Fe0.26Cu0.07Zr0.02)7.5 is studied by the methods of x-ray diffraction analysis and light and scanning microscopy. The dependence of the phase composition and magnetic properties of the alloy on the homogenization temperature is determined and an optimum mode of heat treatment is suggested.
