Effect of Carbide Component on the Service Characteristics of Steel 110Kh18M

  • TECHNICAL INFORMATION
  • Published:
Metal Science and Heat Treatment Aims and scope

The effect of carbide phase on the process of wear of steel 110Kh18M is considered. The laws of variation of wear are determined as a function of the quantitative factors of the hardening phase. The content and arrangement of carbides in the structure of the steel providing minimum wear are determined.
