Filtration algorithms for three-dimensional images of rough surface reliefs are discussed, in particular robust algorithms that can eliminate random outliers and can be used to study the features of surfaces with stratified properties. The feasibility of a robust procedure for a Gaussian filter is demonstrated. Features of two-dimensional regression filters are examined.
