Criteria for Assessing the Adequacy of Approximating Functions in the Method of Calibration Curves

We consider criteria for the adequacy of the model functions in the method of calibration curves used in quantitative immunoassays. It is shown that the Kolmogorov criterion, by virtue of simplicity, can be used for the initial rejection of obviously inadequate model functions.
