The Space-Time Characteristics of High-Temperature Superconductors and A Hall Microscope for Investigating Them

  • Published:
Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

The space and time characteristics of the density of a trapped magnetic flux in Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+x single-crystal and YBa2Cu3O7–x polycrystalline samples are investigated. The effectiveness of these investigations when studying inhomogeneous superconductors is demonstrated. A low-temperature three-dimensional scanning microscope with a sensitivity of 2.5·10−7 T/Hz1/2, based on two Hall converters is developed.
