Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Results of a computational experiment to determine the eigenfrequencies of the torsional vibrations of shaft lines for the turbine units of power stations are presented. It is shown that variations in the torsional stiffness affect the eigenfrequencies of the torsional vibrations. The measurement error in the course of operation of the turbine unit is calculated.
