Abstract

In this work, we have studied the solvent effect on the of bonds deployment after liquid–liquid extraction of UO22+, Sm3+ and Th4+ by tributylphosphate (TBP), tri-n-octylphosphine oxide (TOPO) and di-(2-ethylhexyl) phosphoric acid (D2EHPA). The Infrared study of TBP, TOPO and D2EHPA and its related metal complexes in solvents (hexane, kerosene, chloroform, dichloromethane, cyclohexene and benzene) was examined. After this study, depending to the metal, extractant and diluents, we notice several changes. Stoichiometry of extracted complex in the organic phase was determined by the Job’s method. The complexes extracted were of types MEx, M3Ex7 et M7Ex3.
