Abstract

In the current study, via applying a mixed-ligand method, two transition metal coordination polymers (CPs) {Co(Br-isa)(bpe)·0.5H2O}n (1) and {Zn(Br-isa)(bpe)1.5·0.5H2O}n (2) have been constructed at room temperature, applying 5-bromo isophthalic acid (Br-H2isa) and 1,2-bis-(4-pyridyl)ethylene (bpe) under distinct transition metal ions. The structural analysis results show that complex 1 features a 2D layered network with a 4-connected sql-type topology and complex 2 shows a 2D layered network with an unprecedented 5-connected topology. Luminescence studies revealed that the Zn-based complex 2 can be utilized as a sensitive luminescent sensor for detection of Fe3+ ions in H2O. Moreover, the sensing performance of 2 toward Fe(III) ion was not influenced by the co-existence of other metal ions. The treatment activity of compounds on renal calculus was further detected and the mechanism of action was researched at the same time. At first, the white blood cells and red blood cells percentages were evaluated with urine routine detection. In addition to this, the blood calcium concentration was next conducted to detect the relevance between the calcium concentration and compound treatment on renal calculus.
