We consider the problem of radiative transfer through a planar layer in a special “boundary” statement proposed by V. A. Ambartsumian. We obtain a representation formula for the operator matrix constructed of transmission and reflection operators. Bibliography: 6 titles. Illustrations: 2 figures.
