Thermodynamic Properties of Transition Metal Dichalcogenide Superconductors on a Substrate

Abstract

The effect of a substrate on superconducting energy gap at zero and close to the critical temperature is analyzed. The specific heat and the specific heat jump are calculated. The effect of the substrate on critical field is also analyzed. The modified energy spectrum, due to the substrate, is analyzed in the massive gapped spectrum model.
