Superconducting State Parameters of BMG Superconductors

Abstract

We present the theoretical investigations of the superconducting state parameters (SSPs) viz. electron-phonon coupling strength λ, Coulomb pseudopotential μ , transition temperature T C, isotope effect exponent α and effective interaction strength N 0 V of some bulk metallic glasses (BMG) superconductors by employing the well-known empty core model potential of Ashcroft for the first time. Five well-known screening functions are used to study the screening influence on the aforesaid properties. Also, the present results confirm the superconducting phase in the BMG superconductors. A strong dependency of the SSPs of the BMG superconductors on the valence Z is found.
