Synthesis and microwave absorption enhancement of polyaniline/SrFe12O19/hollow glass microsphere composite with core–shell structure

Abstract

Excellent microwave absorption of PANI/SrM/HGMs composite was prepared via sol–gel method and in situ polymerization reaction. The obtained composites were characterized by SEM, XRD, TGA, VSM and a vector network analyzer. The results indicated that HGMs was completely coated by SrM and PANI/SrM/HGMs composite with core–shell structure was successfully synthesized. The composite exhibits perfect magnetic performance and microwave absorption capacity. Measurement of VSM suggests that the Ms of PANI/SrM/HGMs is 38.5 emu/g. Its RL value can reach up to −19 dB when the thickness is 2.0 mm and −22 dB when the thickness is 1.7 mm.
