Abstract
This study develops and validates the fifteen-item Turkish version of the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale Short Form (CAAS-5-SF) with a cooperation dimension. The data of the study were collected from 1.575 different high school students (aged between 15 and 18 years) in Turkiye. It has been observed that the scale has acceptable validity and reliability values. Significant relationships were obtained between the CAAS-5-SF and perceived stress, problem-solving self-efficacy and career adaptation responses.
Résumé
Développement et validation de la forme abrégée à cinq facteurs de l’échelle d’adaptation professionnelle (CAAS-5-SF). Cette étude développe et valide la version turque en quinze points du formulaire abrégé CAAS-5-SF (Career Adapt-Abilities Scale Short Form). Les données de l’étude ont été recueillies auprès de 1575 élèves du secondaire (âgés de 15 à 18 ans) à Turkiye. On a observé que l’échelle avait des valeurs de validité et de fiabilité acceptables. Des relations significatives ont été établies entre le CAAS-5-SF et le stress perçu, l’auto-efficacité de résolution de problèmes et les réponses à l’adaptation de carrière.
Zusammenfassung
Entwicklung und Validierung der türkischen Fünf-Faktor-Kurzform der Karriere-Anpassungs-Fähigkeiten-Skala (CAAS-5-SF). Diese Studie entwickelt und validiert die türkische Version der Career Adapt-Abilities Scale Short Form (CAAS-5-SF) mit einer Kooperationsdimension. Die Daten der Studie wurden von 1.575 verschiedenen Gymnasiasten (zwischen 15 und 18 Jahren) in Turkiye erhoben. Es wurde beobachtet, dass die Skala akzeptable Validitäts- und Reliabilitätswerte aufweist. Es wurden signifikante Beziehungen zwischen dem CAAS-5-SF und wahrgenommenem Stress, Problemlöse-Selbstwirksamkeit und Karriereanpassungsreaktionen erhalten.
Resumen
Desarrollo y validación de la Escala de Cinco Factores Cortos de la Carrera de Adaptación de Capacidades (CAAS-5-SF). Este estudio desarrolla y valida la versión turca de quince ítems del Formulario Corto de la Escala de Adaptación de Habilidades Profesionales (CAAS-5-SF) con una dimensión de cooperación. Los datos del estudio se recogieron de 1.575 estudiantes de secundaria diferentes (entre 15 y 18 años) en Turquía. Se ha observado que la escala tiene valores aceptables de validez y fiabilidad. Se obtuvieron relaciones significativas entre el CAAS-5-SF y el estrés percibido, la autoeficacia en la resolución de problemas y las respuestas de adaptación profesional.
