Little Higgs Models: Dipole Moments of the ν τ and Energy Scale f

Abstract

Considering the simplest little Higgs model (SLH), the little Higgs model (LH) and the little Higgs model with T-parity (LHT) we calculate the total cross section for the reaction \(e^{+}e^{-}\to \nu \bar \nu \gamma \) to obtain bounds on the anomalous magnetic moment (MM) and the electric dipole moment (EDM) of the tau-neutrino. The results are based on the data reported by the L3 Collaboration at LEP, and compare favorably with the limits obtained in other models. In addition, we obtained limits on the characteristic energy scale f of the little Higgs models: f≥5.5TeV for the SLH and f≥5.56TeV for the LH and LHT, which are competitive with those reported in the literature. This work complements other studies on the dipole moments of the ν τ and on the energy scale f.
