Assessment of a Positive Effect from Water Reservoir Use by Decrease of Negative Water Impact by the Example of Floods in the Years 2019 – 2021 in the Catchment of the Amur River

  • Published:
Power Technology and Engineering Aims and scope

An analysis is done of the effect of the Zeya, Bureya, and Lower Bureya reservoirs on the conditions for passing the flood waters of 2019 – 2021 in the Amur River basin. Apreliminary estimate is given for the flood protection effect of the introduction of advanced HPPs with reservoirs on the tributaries of the Amur River.
