Analyzing the Results of Field Studies into the Static Behavior of the Enguri Dam

  • Published:
Power Technology and Engineering Aims and scope

The results of long-term field observations and studies of the total displacements of the Enguri Arch Dam are presented. Multivariate mathematical models of the horizontal and vertical displacements of the structure that allow predicting the static behavior of the dam under any combination of major loads and influences are developed. The materials of the article are relevant in connection with hydraulic engineering construction and can be used by the operation service of the hydroelectric power plant to control the safety and reliability of hydraulic structures and installed equipment.
