Fibre Chemistry Aims and scope

Results are presented from an experimental study of temperatures and heat-transfer processes during the forced convection of a heat carrier (air) through a porous textile in the presence of counter-pressure. The air flow is laminar. Relations are constructed to predict temperatures in the porous textile with allowance for the effects of thermophysical parameters.
