Abstract
The improvised trend towards working remotely or in hybrid settings has increased the number of persons seeking a career move. The elements of a workplace can impact how committed employees are and whether they plan to stay or leave. In recent years, the study of the workplace, particularly in hybrid and remote settings, has acquired popularity. To fill the research gap, we must explore the link between employee engagement and turnover intention in hybrid and remote workplaces. Understanding the mechanisms, direction, and implications is important for managing organizational dynamics.
We conducted this cross-sectional study on 371 information technology professionals working in Mumbai. Smart PLS was used for the inquiry since it is a reflective-reflective model of higher order and is best suited for this model. As a result, our study adds to the related literature, both conceptually and practically. The study reveals that techniques for boosting employee engagement have better results in hybrid workplaces compared to remote workplaces.
