Four New Phenolic Glycosides from the Seeds of Lepidium apetalum

  • Published:
Chemistry of Natural Compounds Aims and scope

Four new phenolic glycosides lepidiumosides A–D (1–4) were isolated from the water extract of the seeds of Lepidium apetalum Willd. Their structures were determined by extensive spectroscopic (UV, IR, HR-ESI-MS, 1D and 2D NMR) analyses. In addition, these compounds were evaluated for their protective effects impaired by H2O2 in H9c2 cells, suggesting that compounds 1–4 exhibited protective effects against H2O2-induced cardiotoxicity.
