  • Published:
Chemistry of Natural Compounds Aims and scope

A new labdane derivative, chamaecyparisin A (1), was isolated from the methanol extract of the bark of Chamaecyparis obtusa var. formosana. Its structure was established by spectroscopic analyses including 1D and 2D NMR (1H, 13C, COSY, HSQC, HMBC, and NOESY) and EI-MS, and by comparison with the data of known analogs.
