Chemistry of Natural Compounds Aims and scope

A new flavonoid, acacetin-7-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→2)[β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)]-β-Dglucopyranoside (1), and four known flavonoids, phloretin-3′,5′-di-C-β-glucopyranoside (2), 4′-methoxyvitexin-2′′-O-α-L-rhamnopyranoside (3), 4′-methoxyisovitexin-2′′-O-α-L-rhamnopyranoside (4), and fortunellin (5), were isolated from the 70% ethanolic extract of Fortunella margarita. Their structures were established by spectroscopic data and comparison with previous reports.
