One novel clerodane-type diterpenoid glycoside was obtained from the herb of Sheareria nana S. Moore. Its structure was confirmed to be 15,16,18-trihydroxy-neo-trans-clerodan-3,13-(Z)-dien-17-O-β-Dglucopyranoside by spectroscopic methods and named as shearerinside A.
