Novel cationic conjugates of chlorin e6 with galactose fragments: synthesis and evaluation of photodynamic activity

Water-soluble chlorin e6 cationic derivatives with one and two galactose fragments at the quaternized nitrogen atom were synthesized, and the dark and photoinduced cytotoxicity of the obtained compounds was evaluated.
