Synthetic approaches to phosphonylpyridazines: an overview

  • REVIEW
  • Published:
Chemistry of Heterocyclic Compounds Aims and scope

Phosphonylpyridazines are an important class of compounds with promising applications in many fields, especially in medicinal chemistry. This review aims to describe the different strategies developed so far for the synthesis of phosphonylpyridazines, including phosphorylations on the pyridazine ring, as well as inter- and intramolecular cyclization reactions on functionalized phosphonates and phosphine oxides.
