Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Aims and scope

The efficiency of isotope separation by fractionation using different types of packings is compared. A comparative analysis was made of the experimental data on the separation efficiency and the heights of transfer units obtained by empirical equations. Recommendations are offered on selection of the type of packing components and equations for calculating separation efficiency at the initial stages of column construction.
