Characteristics of gas flow distribution in the active section of dry type electrostatic precipitators (electrofilters) are considered. Disadvantages of traditional electric filter designs are indicated. Results obtained in the course of modeling gas flows in different electrofilter sections are presented. Recommendations for uniform gas flow distribution in the active section of the electric filter are proposed.
