Possibility of using the standard technique of calculating the shear force of thin high-coercivity neodymium−iron−boron permanent magnets in magnetic systems and magnetic couplings is considered. Correction factors to the technique of calculating the shear force in magnetic systems and magnetic couplings with thin magnets are introduced from the results of the investigations.
