A schematic of a gravity cascade classification of granular materials is suggested. A mathematical model is developed for the distribution dynamics of particles of a targeted component throughout the stages of a cascade gravity classifier under the action of mixing, segregation, and migration effects in a gravity flow of a granular material. Cascade gravity classification is mathematically modeled and the results obtained are compared with experimental data. The adequacy of the modeling results is confirmed by assessing the uniformity of adequacy and reproducibility dispersions.
