In this work, changes in the dynamics of blood flow through a pump were simulated using a mathematical model of an implantable axial blood pump. To describe these changes, indices derived from the mathematical model of the pump are used. Analysis of the index dynamics when changing pump speed allowed defining the modes of pump operation: mode of reverse blood flow through the pump, mode of partial unloading of the ventricle, mode of complete unloading of the ventricle, modes of partial and complete collapse of the ventricular wall.
