The mechanism for magnetic field generation by hybrid neutron stars containing a 2SC quark phase is examined. It is assumed that S-vortices with quantized angular momentum develop in the superconducting quark fluid. Entrainment of the charged quark fluid in a superfluid motion around the S-vortex leads to the development of currents that generate a magnetic field. It is shown that S-vortices have a magnetic structure in the form of a cluster of Abrikosov magnetic vortices with quantized magnetic flux. The distribution of the magnetic induction in the quark core of neutron stars is also studied.
