New Radial Systems of Dark Globules and HH Objects

  • Published:
Astrophysics Aims and scope

During survey of ESO/SRC plates of the Southern Hemisphere, we have found several dozen new HH objects, star-forming regions, and cometary nebulae [1]. There are also radial systems of dark globules in the vicinity of these new objects. Several regions, containing some of these objects, were observed on the 1.54 m telescope with several narrow band filters. In this paper we present the results of observations of two new radial systems of dark globules and several HH objects and also the results of 12CO(1–0) observations of the dark cloud, part of which is rotating with angular velocity Ω = 4.3∙10−14 s−1.
