Das amelanotische Melanom des Rektums

Zusammenfassung

Das amelanotische Melanom der Rektumschleimhaut ist ein seltener Tumor, der auch erhebliche diagnostische Schwierigkeiten bietet.Wir berichten über eine 65-jährige Patientin mit einem amelanotischen Melanom des Rektums, die mehrfachen transanalen Abtragungen unterzogen wurde.Erst nach endgültiger histologischer Identifizierung des Tumors wurde sie abdominoperineal reseziert.Anhand der vorliegenden Fallbeschreibung soll die Notwendigkeit einer histologischen Abklärung aller Veränderungen im Anorektum betont werden.Bei nach wie vor schlechter Prognose des malignen Melanoms kann nur eine frühzeitige chirurgische Therapie eine deutliche Verlängerung der Überlebensraten erbringen.

Abstract

The amelanotic melanoma of the rectal mucosa is a very rare, difficult to discover tumor.We report on a 65-year-old female patient with an amelanotic melanoma of the rectum who underwent several transanal resections and finally, after an exact histological diagnosis,was treated by abdominoperineal excision.The present case emphasizes the necessity for an obligate histological examination of all suspicious alterations of the anorectum.Even with a very unfavourable prognosis, the amelanotic melanoma of the anorectum should be treated by radical surgical procedures to achieve a significant prolongation of life.
