Abstract

In this ever growing competitive banking industry, understanding the effect of online service, quality, and trust on clients’ satisfaction is the key to be successful in the sector. Technology had grown in the banking industry over the past few years. The main aim of this review is to reflect an overview of Internet banking service along with aspects like benefits, challenges, risks, and evolution of payment methods. This sector has invested a considerable sum of money in utilizing innovative technology to enhance financial services. Companies from both the financial and non-financial sectors have already entered the market places of the established players in an effort to provide higher-quality services that are more efficient. The use of digital technology has also altered staff workloads, customer interactions with banks, and customer service quality. The many facets of ICT-enabled change in the financial services sector are presented, together with their linkages, inside a conceptual framework.
