Abstract
Lobar pneumonia is an acute inflammatory disease characterized by diffuse cellulose exudation in alveolar space, usually involving all or most of the lobar [1]. This disease is common in young adults, and the most common pathogenic bacteria is Streptococcus pneumoniae. Lobar pneumonia often has acute onset, and its main clinical manifestations are cough, rusty sputum, high fever, chest pain, chills, dyspnea, etc. Some patients may have epigastric pain. Physical examination may show percussion dullness, enhanced vocal fremitus, decreased respiratory sound, and lung rales. Laboratory examination shows the increased peripheral blood leukocytes and neutrophils [2].
