Abstract

Artificial intelligence is typically understood as the study of programming computers to perform tasks that would normally need human intelligence. Now, artificial intelligence is everywhere. AI applications in education are on the rise and have received a lot of attention in the last couple of years (Zawacki-Richter et al. in Int J Educ Technol High Educ 16:39, 2019). We are experiencing the power of the AI in every field. According to Swami Vivekananda, education is the manifestation of the society. A proper education is required for the upliftment of the society. Now, the education technologies are available in the afford prices. In this paper, we are focusing the review of various education technologies available in the market based on artificial intelligence. Education is increasingly moving away from the process of “direct teaching” into “self-directed learning”, which is where automation and artificial intelligence-driven alternatives come into the picture. Artificial intelligence does not aim to replace teachers but rather enhances the classroom experience by supplementing technological aid.
