Abstract

Since the late 1970s, there has been talk of home automation. There is an urgent need to save energy in every manner because of the rise in population and energy usage as time goes on. The inability to monitor and control home appliances from afar is a significant contributor to wasted energy. Since the advent of advanced technologies and readily available services, people have substantially shifted their views on what a home ought to have the option to do and how administrations ought to be given and gotten to inside the home. The newest and most advanced internet technology is IoT. In this research, we showcase both a Bluetooth-based home automation system and an internet-based HAS. An automated house is frequently referred to as a smart home, and the fundamental concept being discussed here is the ability to manage basic home features and operations automatically over Bluetooth. This may be done from anywhere in the world using the internet. The communication technology used to build smart houses is Bluetooth. It is fast, simple, and inexpensive to set up. The technology is already well known to most people. When there is no internet connection, we can use Bluetooth voice commands to control the appliances, so the data charges will be reduced.
