Abstract
In this technologically advanced world, technologies like the Internet of Things(IoT), along with modern wireless systems, led to the development of smart and intelligent tools to minimize the dependency of different categories of people like older people, physically disabled people, young children, etc. Cooking is a significant challenge for people, i.e., working people, students, elders, and disabled people. Thus, to enhance the life of the target people, various smart cooking products have been designed and developed in the literature. A smart automated cooker, defined in the literature, is designed and developed in a simulated environment and requires a mobile application for remote control operations. Hence, this article aims to study various smart kitchen products and propose a mobile application for the smart, automated cooker to remotely control the associated functions using wireless, cooking, and assistive technologies.
