Abstract
The non-uniform surface and bulk resistivity of the Graphite layer present in a Resistive Plate Chamber (RPC) may affect detector response and dead time. In this paper, we present the initial results of a study that is oriented toward investigating the effects of resistivity of different materials on RPC signal generation.
