Abstract
Shell side flow distribution is one of the important contents in the study of thermal and hydraulic characteristics of fast reactor steam generator. It is closely related to flow induced vibration, temperature difference between tube bundles and mechanical evaluation of heat transfer tubes. The purpose of the experiment is to study the uniformity of steam generator shell side flow distribution, which is important to verify the structural design of steam generator. In this paper, the flow field of steam generator shell side is measured by Laser Doppler Velocimeter (LDV). The cross flow velocity distribution, axial flow velocity distribution and three-dimensional flow field distribution of steam generator shell side are obtained. The test results show that the setting of flow distribution device can better realize the uniformity of steam generator shell side, and provide data support for the structural design of fast reactor steam generator.
