Abstract

Reticulated hyperpigmentation presents in a broad spectrum of disorders encompassing dyschromatosis universalis hereditaria with giant melanosomes, dychromatosis universalis inherita, dermatopathia pigmentosa reticularis, Dowling–Degos disease, Galli–Galli disease, epidermolysis bullosa with mottled pigmentation, x-linked reticulate pigmentary disorder, familial mandibuloacral dysplasia, hereditary fibrosing poikiloderma with tendon contractures, myopathy and pulmonary fibrosis, reticulate acropigmentation of Dohi, acropigmentation of Kitamura with atrophic brownish macule on the neck, prurigo pigmentosa, reticulated hyperpigmentation following anaphylactoid purpura, and arborizing and stellate melanosis.
