Abstract
This part gives the following information: (1) the team members involved in the joint study; (2) the theory and framework the study is based on; (3) how the themes of the joint study were determined. The themes of the study include: the East Asian international order out of which ancient China–Japan relations developed, Chinese and Japanese cultural exchange and mutual awareness, and comparative study of the political and social structures of ancient China and Japan.
