Abstract

The concept of economic globalization only emerged in the last quarter of the twentieth century, yet already in the early twenty-first century, it came to be one of the most frequently used terms in discussing global economic development and characterizing individual forms of international economic relations. Initially, researchers studied this phenomenon in connection with market globalization and the exacerbation of global human problems, yet, over the span of two or three decades, globalization has come to be associated with a whole range of trends in public life that frequently went far beyond the economic realm.
