Abstract

Over the past 75 years, nuclear deterrence has been central to international security. In itself, nuclear deterrence forms an integral part of the nuclear factor in international relations, along with such components as nuclear nonproliferation, strategic military planning, arms control, strategic dialogue, and strategic stability.
