Abstract

This literature survey dives deep in the theory of power MOSFET discussing every aspect of its development starting from the very beginning of its invention, covering the advancements in the device structure to its applications. The research paper also includes the study of various structures of the power MOSFET while comparing their features at the same time. The study of various power MOSFET structures based on the parameters like device structure, thermal stability, conductivity, breakdown voltage, and the on-state resistance has been included in the paper. The paper also researches and concludes the best device structure for use in the present world.
