Abstract

Steel residential structure is one of the future trends of residences in rural China. At present, the development of steel residential structure focuses on technology and pays less attention to regional characteristics. On the basis of combing the development status and classification system of steel residential structure in rural China, the regional characteristics of steel structure residences in rural areas are explored from three aspects: space composition, facade characteristics and detailed components. Summarize the methods of inheriting regional characteristics in residential design and construction. Provide suggestions for the healthy development of steel residential structure in rural China in the future.
