Abstract
The closing remarks first briefly summarize the main contents of outstanding achievements of research on trends and determinants of healthy aging in China based on analyses of the eight waves datasets of Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey (CLHLS) which has the worldwide largest sample size of oldest-old aged 80+ and compatible sample of young-old aged 65–79. We then outlined and discussed limitations of our current research. Finally, we expressed our wishes to further cooperate closely with colleagues from other institutions to carry out in-depth interdisciplinary research in various aspects of trends and determinants of healthy aging for sound decision-making and sustainable development in China and elsewhere.
