Abstract
Interstitial lung diseases (ILDs), also known as diffuse parenchymal lung diseases, are common lethal diseases, characterized by basilar patchy scarring and honeycombing that lead to chronic and progressive respiratory failure due to fibrosis in the lung. Here we describe a case of a 35-year-old female, in her second trimester of pregnancy, succumbing to ILD, suspected on HRCT, and confirmed on autopsy. The lungs showed typical gross and histopathologic features of ILD.
