Abstract
Based on regional drilling, seismic data and previous knowledge of adjacent areas, the petroleum geology, sedimentology and other methods are used to analyze the hydrocarbon accumulation conditions of Leikoupo Formation in Hechuan area, central Sichuan, to clarify the main controlling factors of hydrocarbon accumulation and point out the favorable exploration zones. In Leikoupo Formation, there are three sets of reservoirs: LeiI1 submember grain beach, LeiIII2 submember unconventional marl and karst dolomite at the top of Leikoupo Formation. Taking three sets of reservoirs as the main line, the gas source correlation, drilling test and gas logging data are used to summarize the source-reservoir-cap conditions and their configuration relations. Combined with the analysis of Leikoupo reservoir formation process, the multi-type gas reservoir formation model is established. They are dolomitized grain bank lower source-upper reservoir structural gas reservoirs of LeiI1 submember, the main controlling factors of reservoir formation were the pass source faults and structural traps; the marl self-generated and self-accumulated unconventional gas reservoirs in LeiIII2 submember, the main controlling factors of reservoir formation were the organic marl and fractures; karst dolomite side-generated and side-accumulated structure gas reservoir at the top of Leikoupo Formation, the main controlling factors of reservoir formation were structural trap and lateral distribution of source and reservoir. Based on the main controlling factors of different types of gas reservoirs in different layers, the favorable zones were constrained and optimized to clarify the regional exploration direction.
