Abstract

Closely combined with the exploration and development, based on drilling data, logging data, seismic data and so on, the weathering crust of Ordovician in Western Erdos basin was taken as the object, guided by the multidisciplinary geological theory and technology, organically combined with the tectonic evolution background, well point data control, crosswell seismic model, a new method of palaeogeomorphologic reconstruction was explored, and the accuracy of palaeogeomorphologic reconstruction was improved. The results show that: the middle area of Sulige gas field is located in the regional denudation area, and the corresponding paleogeomorphology explanation includes two second-level paleogeomorphological units of karst highland and karst slope, and third-level paleogeomorphological units of highland, platform, saddle, depression, slope, etc. At the same time, it is found that the karstification is stronger in the study area, and the karstification of karst slope is more favorable to the development of the weathering crust reservoir. The development of effective reservoirs in the residual hill and the margin of the depression are the favorable gas bearing area. The results indicate the direction for the next exploration and development.
